Things To Do In Ogden Utah

Ogden, Utah has an unbelievable amount of variety to offer the business, leisure, or recreational visitor. From shopping and dining to hiking and biking to some of the best skiing on the planet, this city has it all – and more. And right in the center of everything is The Bigelow Hotel & Residences.

Around the Town

Indulge in shopping and dining along Ogden’s Historic 25th Street. Take in a show at the historic Peery’s Egyptian Theatre or the Ogden Amphitheater. Tour the many museums Ogden has to offer, including the Utah State Railroad Museum, Hill Aerospace Museum, and the Browning Arms Museum. Experience some chills on the Ogden Ghost Tour. Get cultured with the First Friday Arts Stroll down Historic 25th Street.

Skiing and Snowboarding

Ogden is surrounded by some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the world, and the Bigelow is one of the closest hotels to Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, and Nordic Valley Resorts. Here for a few days or more? Guests at The Bigelow Hotel can purchase the coveted Ski 3 Pass which gets you discounted full-day (and night!) passes to all three Ogden-area ski resorts! This is the best deal around and definitely one you won’t want to miss.

Hiking and Boating

We are surrounded by the most stunning lakes, mountains chock full of hiking trails, iconic desert landscapes, and so much more. Weber County has over 170,000 acres of National Forest with more than 210 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails to explore. When you’re ready to get off dry land for a spell, the 13,000 acres of lakes are just waiting for swimmers, kayakers, and water skiers. There is whitewater rafting, river tubing, fly fishing…you name it, Ogden’s got it.

Nightlife

Not only is this city full of famed watering holes (it is, after all, a key part of Ogden’s notorious history), many of these establishments will even entertain you as you enjoy your libations. Wiseguys Comedy Club will have you rolling in the aisles, and check out the many live music venues to find which one has the music you want to dance the night away to. No need to worry about driving or parking – many of the nightclubs, bars, and neighborhood dives are within walking distance or a short cab ride away from The Bigelow.

Relax and Unwind

Ogden has more than its fair share of spas, and nothing says ‘vacation’ like a massage and a mani-pedi. Need a good stretch after a long flight or a great day of skiing? Try one of the yoga studios located a stone’s throw from The Bigelow. A long, hot soak more your game? There are plenty of day spas and fitness centers right in town with hot tubs and saunas that will melt away those sore muscles.
